Receiving Faxes Manually: MANUAL MODE

In MANUAL MODE, if you connect the optional handset or a telephone to your

MultiPASS, you can receive voice calls as well as manually activate reception of faxes.

You can activate reception from the MultiPASS or from the telephone connected to the

unit (this is called Remote receiving).

n• For this mode, you need to connect the optional handset or a telephone to your unit.

• Make sure the REMOTE RX setting is enabled (1p. 14-7). You can also enable this

setting from the MultiPASS Suite. (1MultiPASS Suite User’s Guide)

Setting MANUAL MODE

Follow this procedure to set the receive mode to MANUAL MODE:

1Press Receive Mode to select MANUAL

MODE.

Receiving a Fax Manually

Follow this procedure to receive a fax manually:

1Make sure Manual is displayed in the LCD. Ex:

2Make sure you have connected the optional

handset or a telephone to the MultiPASS.

telephone ring, pick up the handset.
