Follow this procedure to set the Fax/Tel Mode options:
1Follow steps 1 to 9 on page 8-5.
2Press Set.Ex:
3Use the numeric buttons to enter the Ex:
time the unit waits before ringing when it
receives a call.
• You can select from 0 to 30 seconds.
• The default setting is eight seconds.
4Press Set twice.

the unit rings while waiting for someone to
pick up the handset.
• You can select from 10 to 60 seconds.
• The default setting is 22 seconds.
6Press Set twice.
Ex:
7Use dor uto select RECEIVE or Ex:
DISCONNECT.
• This setting tells the unit what to do if no one
picks up the handset within the specified ring
time set in step 5.
• Select RECEIVE to receive the call, or
DISCONNECT to disconnect the call.
• The default setting is RECEIVE.
8Press Set.
9Press Stop to return to standby mode. Ex: 15:00 FaxTel
