Receiving Both Faxes and Telephone Calls
Automatically: Fax/Tel Mode
Set this mode if you want your MultiPASS to automatically switch between voice and
fax calls.
nFor this mode, you need to connect the optional handset or a telephone to your unit.

Setting Fax/Tel Mode
Follow this procedure to set the receive mode to FAX/TEL AUTO SW
(Fax/Tel Mode):
1Press Function.
2Press Data Registration.
3Press Set.
4Use dor uto select RX SETTINGS.
5Press Set.
6Use dor uto select RX MODE.
7Press Set.Ex:
8Use dor uto select FAX/TEL AUTO SW.
9Press Set.
10 Press Stop to return to standby mode. Ex:
11 Confirm that FaxTel is displayed in the LCD. Ex:
• If FaxTel is not displayed, press Receive
Mode to select Fax/Tel Mode. After a few
seconds, the LCD returns to standby mode.
