7Repeat steps 4 to 6 to remove and install
other BJ tanks. Be sure to install them in
their correct slot. The illustration here
shows the correct colour array of BJ
tanks in a BJ cartridge.

8Close the printer cover.
• The LCD displays CART. RETURN while
the cartridge holder moves to its home
position on the right side of the unit. The
MultiPASS then cleans the print head which
takes about 20 seconds.
9Close the document tray.
nIf you need to unplug the MultiPASS, wait until the unit is in standby mode (time and
receive mode displayed in the LCD). Otherwise the cartridge holder may not be in its home
position causing the BJ cartridge to remain uncapped and dry out.
