Replacing an Ink Tank
When replacing an ink tank, check the model number very carefully. The printer will not print
properly if the wrong ink tank is used, or installed in the incorrect position.
•Black: BCI-24 Black
•Colour: BCI-24 Color
Note ➤Damage caused by using a refilled cartridge is not covered by the Canon
warranty. Canon recommends using only original Canon ink tanks to
ensure the best quality.
1Ensure that the printer is on, and then open the front cover.
The cartridge holder moves to the centre.
