1. Carefully remove all items from the box Step 1 Unpack The PrinterS450 Setup Instructions Step 2 Plug In and Turn On the Printer Step 3 Attach the Paper Output Tray1. Lift up the front cover Step 4 Install The BJ CartridgeOrange cap Orange tape 2. Remove the BC-31e Color BJ Cartridge from its package 3. RemovePage 8. Open the document tray Step 5 Insert the Ink Tanks7. Repeat these steps to prepare the BC-30e Black Cartridge 1. Start with the BCI-3eY Yellow Ink TankTo prevent spills, do not press the side of the Ink Tank 2. Pull up the orange tape and remove the plastic wrapper3. Twist off the protective orange cap 4. Insert the Ink Tank into the slot on the right7. Insert the black Ink Tank into the cartridge on the left 4. When you see this screen, click Next Step 6 Install the Printer Software - Choose Installation A, B, or CA - Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, and Windows NT 4.0 Users 9. Close the front cover6. Connect the free end of the USB or parallel cable to the printer 8. Continue to follow the on-screen instructions. Setup includes B - Windows 2000 Users7.
