Brilliant Low-Light Performance

The lens on the VB-M40 has been been treated with special coatings and engineered with new auto focus algorithms to allow the camera to provide high quality images even in the toughest lighting conditions (like starlight). The VB-M40 provides color video down to 0.03 Lux and B/W video down to 0.001 Lux.

On-Board Video Analytics

The VB-M40 includes a variety of Video Analytics

The detection area, sensitivity and duration can be finely tuned, allowing for precise event detection by the camera, while advanced notification tools can notify predesignated parties, saving valuable response time.

The VB-M40 also includes a Privacy Mask Function which can be used to block selected areas of the camera’s view. In sensitive locations where surveillance is required but particular areas can’t be seen or recorded

–such as door entry or ATM keypads, computer monitors or apartment windows – a Privacy Mask will hide that area while still allowing a full range of motion.
