This section contains more detailed and technical information about watch operation. It also contains important precautions and notes about the various features and functions of this watch.
Auto Return Features
•After you perform an operation in any mode, pressing D returns to the Timekeeping Mode.
•The watch automatically switches to the Timekeeping Mode if you do not perform any operation for about two minutes in any mode screen except for the Stopwatch Mode and Camera Mode.
•The watch automatically switches to the Timekeeping Mode if you do not perform any operation for about one minute while the Calendar screen is on the display.
•In any setting screen except for the IR Mode, the watch automatically exits the setting screen if you do not perform any operation for about one minute.
•If you do not perform an operation for about five minutes after displaying the IR Mode send/receive menu, the watch automatically returns to the IR Mode screen.

Alarm and Countdown Timer
The Daily Alarm, Hourly Time Signal and Countdown Timer alarm does not sound while the watch is in the Camera Mode or IR Mode, or while the Calendar or VISUAL DATABANK Mode setting screen is on the display.
Auto Power Save
The watch automatically turns off its display screen if it is not moved for about 60 minutes.
If a daily alarm time or the end of a countdown timer countdown is reached while the display is blank, the display is turned on and the applicable screen image appears while the alarm is sounding. After that, the display goes blank again. Pressing F while an alarm is sounding stops the alarm, displays the wake up screen image, and then enters the Timekeeping Mode. Pressing any other button to stop the alarm causes the display to go blank.
