Operation Guide 3274

Charging Guide

After a full charge, timekeeping remains enabled for up to about 14 days.

ξThe following table shows the amount of time the watch needs to be exposed to light each day in order to generate enough power for normal daily operations.

Exposure Level (Brightness)

Approximate Exposure Time

Outdoor sunlight (50,000 lux)

5 minutes

Window sunlight (10,000 lux)

24 minutes

Window sunlight on cloudy day (5,000 lux)

48 minutes

Indoor fluorescent lighting (500 lux)

8 hours

ξFor details about the capacitor operating time and daily operating conditions, see the “Power Supply” section of the Specifications on page E-22.

ξStable operation is promoted by frequent charging.
