3. Click the [Setting(S)] button.

Click the [Cancel] button to cancel the operation.

•Check that the number of the RS-232C terminal (serial port) on your PC connected by the cable is the same as the port number (COM1-COM9) displayed by the communication port setting in the preferences dialog box.

•Read the instruction manual of your PC for the number of the RS-232C terminal.

•If the number of the RS-232C terminal connected is different from the communication port number in the preferences dialog box, select the communication port number connected.

4.Click the [Test(T)...] button.

•When the “The camera was recognized.” dialog box is displayed, click the [OK] button and then click the [OK] button in the preferences dialog box.

•When an error message is displayed, the digital camera is not communicating correctly with Photo Loader. If this occurs, check that the digital camera is correctly connected to the PC and try again.
