Using the Microphone
Unplugging the Microphone
Make sure you turn off the keyboard before unplugging the microphone. Grasp the plug and pull to unplug it. Never pull on the microphone cord. Doing so can damage the microphone and lead to malfunction.
Using the Microphone for Singing

NOTE

Before plugging in the microphone or unplugging it, make sure you first turn off the microphone and the keyboard.

Always turn off the microphone whenever you are not using it.

The length and key of a built-in tune may be different from the original tune as it was written.

Microphone volume is fixed. You cannot adjust it.

Use only the microphone that comes with this keyboard. Never try to connect any other type of microphone.

The microphone is intended for use exclusively with the MA-170 keyboard. Never try to use it with any other device.

Howling (Feedback Noise)

Any of the following conditions can cause howling (feedback noise).

Covering the head of the microphone with your hand

Positioning the microphone too near to a speaker

Should howling occur, try grasping the microphone further away from the head, and move away from any nearby speaker.

Accessories and Options

Use only the accessories and options specified for this keyboard. Use of non-authorized items creates the danger of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
