CELESTRON ONE YEAR WARRANTY
A. CelestronInternational (CI) warrants this telescopeto be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year. CIwill
repair or replace such product or partthereof which, upon inspection by CI, is found to be defective in materials or
workmanship. Asa condition to the obligation of CI to repair or replacesuch product, the product must be returned to CI
togetherwith proof-of-purchasesatisfactory to CI.
B. The ProperReturn Authorization Number mustbe obtained from CI in advance of return. Call Celestron at (310) 328-9560to
receivethe number to be displayedon the outside of your shipping container.
Allreturns must be accompanied by a written statement setting forth the name, address,and daytime telephone number of the
owner,together with a brief description of any claimeddefects. Parts or product for which replacement is madeshall become
theproperty of C I.
The customer shall be responsible for all costs of transportation and insurance, both to and from the factory of CI, and
shallbe required to prepay such costs.
CIshall use r easonableefforts to repair or replace any telescope covered by this warranty within thirty days of receipt. In the
eventrepair or replacement shall require more than thirtydays, CI shall notify the customer accordingly. CIreserves the right to
replacean yp roduct which has been discontinued from its produ ct line with a new product of comparable value and func tion.
This warranty shallbe void and of no force of effect in the event a covered product has been modifiedin design or
function, or subjected to abuse, misuse, mishandling or unauthorized repair. Further, product malfunction or
deteriorationdue to normal wearis not covered by this warranty.
CIDISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER OF MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS FOR
APARTICULAR USE, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN.
THE SOLE OBLIGATION OF CI UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE
COVERED PRODUCT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS SET FORTH HEREIN. C IEXPR ESSLY DISCLAIMS
ANY LOST PROFITS, GENERAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH MAY RESULT
FROMB REACH OF ANY WARRANTY, OR ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY CI PRODUCT.
ANY WARRANTIES WHICH ARE IM PLIED AND WHICH CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED SHALL BE LIM ITED IN
DURATIONTO A TERM OF ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE.
Somestates do not allow the exclusion or limitationof incidental or consequential damagesor limitation on how long an implied
warrantylasts , so the above limitations and exclusionsmay not apply to you.
Thiswarranty gives you specificlegal rights, and you may alsohave other rights which varyfrom state to state.
CIreserves the right to modify or discontinue,without prior notice to you, any modelor style telescope.
