To prevent serious injury

from accidental operation:

Turn the Power Switch of the tool to its “OFF” position and unplug the tool from its electrical outlet before assembling or making any adjustments to the tool.

1.Insert the Auxiliary Handle (501) over the Housing (29) until it rests behind the Chuck (2). When required for exact depth drilling, insert the Depth Gauge (502) into the Auxiliary Handle clamp. See Figure D.

2.Turn the Forward Handle for left or right-handed use, then securely tight- en the wing nut until Auxiliary Handle cannot move.
