Step3 Reformat the Flash memory card using the format slot0: (or format slot1:) command as follows.

Router# format slot0:

Step4 Copy the files you saved to the TFTP server back to the Flash memory card as follows.

Replacing or Recovering a Lost Password

This section describes how to recover a lost enable or console login password, and how to replace a l ost

enable secret password on your Cisco 7204 router.

Note It is possible to recover the enable or console login password. The enable secret password is encry pt ed,

however, and must be replaced with a new enable secret password.
