2 The Intended Audience

2.1 Intended

Audience The A05 exam is a rigorous examination of subjects that are critical to an

administrator’s role as defined by subject matter experts (SMEs) at Citrix

Systems, Inc. This role includes, but is not limited to:

• Systems Administrators

• Technical Support staff

• Systems Integrators

• Citrix Consultants/Architects

• Sales/Systems Engineers (SEs)

2.2 Defining the

Role Tested The intended audience was determined by SMEs for XenApp through a Job

Task Analysis (JTA) procedure. The SMEs defined the audience by

discussing the job functions that require use of the enterprise edition of the

Citrix XenApp 5.0 for Windows Server 2008 product. The SMEs also

determined that the exam should focus primarily on Citrix products.
