CLEANING

1.Turn Temperature Control Knob(s) OFF.

2.Always unplug unit from electrical outlet and allow to cool before cleaning.

3.NEVER IMMERSE UNIT IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.

4.Do not attempt to separate burner from the unit.

5.Use a damp, soapy cloth or sponge to clean the surface of the sealed burners, burner rings, legs, and housing unit. NEVER USE HARSH ABRASIVE OR STEEL WOOL PADS ON ANY PART OF THE BURNER.

6.Thoroughly wipe soap from sealed burners and burner rings. Then dry.

7.There are no user serviceable parts. Any servicing other than cleaning should be performed by an authorized service center.

NOTE: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is required, extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the Single Burner (120V, 1000W) and

(2)the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally. If the plug does not fit securely into the AC outlet or if the AC plug or outlet feels warm, do not use that AC outlet.
