LAMP ORIENTATION

LAMP ORIENTATION

The Generation Series utilizes a vertical lamp position and locates the lamp in the luminaire top to prevent any direct glare to pedestrians or motorists. The vertical lamp orientation allows for wider spacing and better uniformity over traditional horizontally lamped cutoff luminaires.

IES CLASSIFICATION As a result of the Generation Series exceptionally

low brightness, visual perception is enhanced as contrast between the luminaire and surrounding objects is reduced. As an example, a collector road

with a medium pedestrian conflict area can be designed to IESNA RP8 standards while still spacing the luminaires 6 mounting heights apart.

Combining this strong performance on the ground with it’s IES cutoff classification makes the Generation Series the ideal choice for the environmentally conscience.
