A low brightness 6" aperture adjustable accent fixture for metal halide CDM-R111 lamps (39W max) with FadeBlock. The CDM-R111 ceramic metal halide lamp with intergral spun aluminum reflector provides smooth precise beam control. Optics allow the lamp axis to pivot about the center of the aperture at the ceiling line, allowing maximum light output with no flashback. 20° truncated cone allows full range and flexibility of aiming.

Spun 0.040" aluminum. Available in low iridescent clear, haze, warm haze, straw, wheat and specular black Alzak® finishes or painted white. Torsion springs pull trim tight to ceiling. Reflector is keyed to prevent improper orientation relative to lamp.

B … Trim Ring

High impact polymer with satin white finish or self flanged reflector. Metal trim ring and rimless trim ring accessories available. (See Options and Accessories)

C … Aiming Mechanism

Stable lamp aiming and locking mechanism allows smooth 365° rotation and 35° elevation adjustment. Lamp aiming scale enables consistent setting across multiple fixtures. Lens clips included with housing allow use of two lenses.

D … Housing

One piece die cast 1 1/2" (38mm) deep collar. Housing is painted optical matte black to eliminate stray light. Housing is top accessible.

E … Universal Mounting Bracket

Accepts 1/2" EMT, C channel, T bar fasteners, and bar hangers (See Accessories). Provides 5" total vertical adjustment.

F … Conduit Fittings

Die-cast screw tight connectors.

G … Junction Box

Galvanized with (6) 1/2" and (2) 3/4" KOs. Listed for (12) #12 AWG 90° C conductors.

H … Socket

4kV pulse rated GX8.5 socket.

I … Ballast

Thermally protected, Class A electronic ballast provides full light output and rated lamp life. Provides noise free operation and starting. Offers excellent line voltage regulation (+/- 0.5% output variation with +/- 10% changes in line voltage) resulting in increased color stability and flicker free operation. Extended brown-out survival eliminates most lamp drop-outs caused by short term sags of input voltage. Ballast is warrantied against defects in material and workmanship for three years from the date of shipment.

J … Insulation Detector

Self-resetting insulation detector opens circuit if insulation is improperly installed.
