INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Beforebeginninginstallation,placethe tractor on a firmand levelsurface,set the parkingbrake,placethe PTOinthe disengaged(OFF)position,stopthe tractor's engine and removethe ignitionkeyto preventunintended starting.

WARNING: Cutting bladesare sharp.Alwaysprotect

handsby wearingheavyleatherwork glovesto grasp blades.

IMPORTANT: Usea torquewrenchto tighten each bladespindle'shex flange nutto between70 ft-lb and 90 ft-lb.

INSERTING THE MULCH PLUG

1.Liftthe dischargechuteup (A).SeeFigure3.

2.Insertthe mulchpluginto thedeckdischargeopeningby fittingthe tab onthe rearsideof the mulchpluginsidethe deck(B)and pivotingthe mulchplugintoplace(C).

3.Pullandstretchthe retainingstrapon the mulchplugover the deckwheel bracket(D) onthe deckandhookontothe bottomof that bracket as seenin the insetof Figure3.

1.Removecuttingdeckfrombeneathtractor(referto Cutting DeckRemovalinCraftsmanRevolutionZero-TurnRiding MowerOperator'sManual).

2.Gentlyflip the deckoverto exposeits underside,

3.Placea blockof wood betweenthe deckhousingbaffleand the cuttingbladeto actas a stabilizer,thenuse a wrench to removethe hex flangenutthatsecureseach bladeto its spindleassembly.

IMPORTANT:Thehexflangenutshavearight-handed(normal)thread patternDoNOTattempttoforcethenutsintheoppositedirection.Doing.

4. Replacethe bladeswiththe bladesincludedinthe kit. Be
sureto installeach bladewiththe side marked"Bottom" (or
witha part numberstampedin it) facingthe groundwhenthe	Figure 3
