CAUTION: BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICE OR ADJUSTMENTS:
. Depress clutch/brake pedal fully and set parking brake.
o Place gearshift lever in "NEUTRAL" position.
•Place attachment clutch in "DISENGAGED position.
Turn ignition key "OFF" and remove key.
°Make sure the blades and all moving parts have completely stopped.
°Disconnect spark plug wire from spark plug and place wire where it cannot come in contact with
plug.

TRACTOR
TO REMOVE MOWER (See Figs. 23 & 24)
Mowerwill be easier'to remove from the right side of tractor,
oPark tractor on a level surface and engage parking brake..
°Be sure that mower clutch lever is in "DISENGAGED" position.
oMove attachment lift lever down to lowest cutting position,
•Roll belt off engine pulley.,
MOWER LIFT LEVER
oDisconnect clutch rod from clutch arm by removing retainer sp ring,
oDisconnect rear suspension arms from chassis by removing retainer springs,.
oDisconnect front links from mower deck by removing retainer spring&
oDisconnect rear lift links from mower deck by removing retainer springs,
CAUTION: When rear lift links are re-
moved, the lift arms will be pulled up to the frame by the counterbalance spring. Keep hands free when removing rear lift links from lift arms.
°Raise mower lift lever to highest position,
°Slide mower deck out on right side of tractor.,
TO INSTALL MOWER (See Figs. 23 & 24)
•Move attachment lift lever up to its highest position.
•Slide mowerdeck under tractor with discharge guard to right side of tractor,.
,,Move attachmentlift Ieverforwardto its lowest position..
oInstall mower deck in reverse order of removal instruc- tions..
