The following table provides corrective action for possible trouble situations. If

further assistance is required, please contact a Crestron customer service

representative.

Incorrect power
supply.
Use a Crestron power supply with sufficient
power for the network.
PWR LED does
not illuminate.
CNX-PVID8x3 is
not receiving
power.
Verify that cables plugged into NET ports are
secure.
NET LED does
not illuminate.
Improper NET ID. Verify that CNX-PVID8x3 NET ID matches NET
ID software program. Refer to "Identity Code" in
this Operations Guide.
Loose network
connection.
Verify that cable plugged into NET port is
secure.
OUTPUT LEDs
do not
illuminate.
Loose connection. Verify that (RCA or RJ-45) cables connected to
OUTPUT ports are secure.
ACTIVE VIDEO
INPUT LEDs do
not illuminate.
Input without sync. Confirm that the input contains sync (only
composite video and the "Y" information
channel (or luminence) for both S-video and the
component signal can be reliably detected).
Blurry video. Terminator missing
from INPUT
connector.
Terminators should remain attached unless the
INPUT connectors of multiple units are
connected (loop-through). The last unit in the
loop must have the terminators installed.
