POWER SOURCE

Unwind the AC power cord at the back of the unit and connect it to a power outlet.

UNPACKING THE TURNTABLE

1. Carefully remove unit from it's package and take it out of the plastic bag.
2. Open lid and remove black tie-wrap by untwisting and gently sliding out from under tone
arm.
3. Remove cardboard shipper.
4. Remove white protective needle cover by gently pulling towards front of unit.

TURNTABLE OPERATION

Turn the unit on by switching the VOLUME ON/OFF (11) located on the front panel to the ON
position.
1. Select the function switch to the PHONO position
2. Set the speed control switch to desire speed (331/3 , 45 or 78 rpm).Place the record on
the turntable.
3. Adjust the Volume switch (11) set at the mid range.
4. Pull the TONE ARM (16 )slightly to the right side until hear the click sound to activate
the turntable.
5. Move the tone arm by hand out over the record and slowly lower it. Re adjust the VOLUME
control (11) to the desire level.
6. At the end of the record, the tone arm will stop automatically by the center and return to
the arm rest manually.

Accessory: ADAPTER FOR 45RPM

TO PLAY THE RPM RECORD, PLACE THE ADAPTER AT THE CENTRE OF THE
TURNTABLE.

POLARIZED ELECTRICAL PLUG INSTRUCTIONS

This product is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (a plug having one
blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a
safety feature, If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If
the plug should still fail to fit, contact you electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not
defeat the purpose of the polarized plug.

CASSETTE OPERATION

Turn the unit on by switching the VOLUME ON/OFF (11) located on the front panel to the on
position.
1. Turn the function switch (2) toCASSETTE position.
2. Insert a prerecorded tape through the CASS DOOR (20). Tape will slide into the cassette
mechanism and start playing.
3. Adjust the volume level by turning the VOLUME (11) Control.
4. For fast forwarding, press the EJECT/F.F (21) half way in. Pressing (21) again, will stop the
fast forwarding and returnthe cassette to the playing mode.
5. To stop and eject the cassette, press the EJECT/F.F(21) in completely.
6. When one side of the tape finishes playing, the cassette will automatically stop.
NOTE: Remove the tape from the unit when it is not in use or stopped.

CD (COMPACT DISC) OPERATION

Turn the unit on by switching the VOLUME ON/OFF (11) located on the front panel to the on
position.

PLAYBACK

1. Set the function switch (2) to CD position.
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE (3) to open the CD door.
3. Insert the CD and close the CD Door.
4. The CD-Player starts and scans the contents list of the CD. After 3 seconds, the total track
numbers will be displayed.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE (5) to start playing the CD.
6. Adjust the VOLUME (11) to desired sound level.
7. Press the PLAY /PAUSE (5) to stop playback temporarily.
8. Press the PLAY /PAUSE (5) again to resume playback.
9. Press the STOP (4) to stop the playback.

SKIP / SEARCH

1. Press the FORWARD SKIP (10) to go to next track, press BACKWARD SKIP (9) to play the
previous track.
2. Press and hold the FORWARD SKIP (10) or BACKWARD SKIP (9) to search within the current
track. Release the button to resume play.

PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK

Up to 19 tracks can be programmed.
1. Press the PROGRAM (6). "0" will appear on the display.
2. Press the FORWARD SKIP (10) or BACKWARD SKIP (9) to make the selection of tracks.
3. Press the PROGRAM (6) again to memorize the track number.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 above to programother tracks.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (5) to start programmed playback.
6. Press the PROGRAM (6) to review and store the tracks numbers in memory. Change track
numbers as desired.
7. Press Play (5) to start playing. To erase all programmed memories, press PROGRAM first ,
then the STOP (4) button once.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES

Avoid installing the unit in the locations described below:
1. Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to heat radiating appliances such as heater.
2. On top of other electronic/electrical equipment which radiates excess heat.
3. Dusty areas.
4. Humid and moist areas.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

The unit does not operate
* The AC power cord is not connect to a power outlet.
* The unit is not turn on: rotate the VOLUME knob from the OFF position past
theclick to turn on the unit .
No sound
* The white protective needle cover was not remove.
* The volume has not been turned up.
* The turntable has not been activated by pulling the tone arm slightly to the right.
