Thank you for purchasing the Crosley Compact 3
Speed Turntable (CR40). Before operating this unit,
please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for
future reference.
Instructions in this manual describe the control
functions of the CR40.

There is no Power
1The AC adaptor is not connected to either a
power outlet or unit.
2The unit is not turned ON : Rotate the ON-OFF
SWITCH from the OFF position.
Turntable will not work
1The white protective needle cover was not
removed.
2Adjust the Volume Control knob.
Troubleshooting
Line Out
To use your turntable as an audio output device that
can be hooked up to an existing stereo system,
follow the steps below.
1Plug Auxiliary cable into the LINE OUT JACK(5)
on the back of your unit.
2Plug the other end of the Auxililary cable into
the input jack on your desired external
component.
3Check the volume level of your external
component.
4See operators manual for correct operation of
the external component.
Connecting Optional Equipment
The subwoofer output jack enables you to attach a
subwoofer (not supplied) which will enhance bass
response. Please contact your retailer for suitable
subwoofer models.
