Crown Commercial Amplifier Series

Security Knob

Your Crown® CCA product has one or two output volume controls with knobs. To keep people from changing their settings, you can replace the knobs with the included Security Knobs, which cannot be rotated.

1.Pull off the existing output volume-control knob(s) (Figure 1).

2.Using a nut wrench, remove the nut from each output volume control. The nut size is either 10 or 11 mm, hexagonal.

3.If you want the Knobs to be permanent, add a drop of Loctite® Super Glue (or equivalent cyanacrylic adhesive) to the Knob threads (Figure 2).

4.Screw the Security Knob (Figure 2) onto the shaft of each output volume control.
