Before Using Your Freezer

Remove packing materials:

Remove materials, tape and labels before using the freezer.

Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alco- hol, flammable fluids or abrasive cleaners. These can damage the material.

Clean your freezer before using it:

1.Use a sponge, cloth or paper towel and mild detergent in warm water to clean outside and inside of freezer, door liner and gasket.

2.Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Locate Proper Electrical Supply:

Recommended Grounded Method:

A 115 Volt, 60 Hz., AC only 15 or 20 ampere fused and properly grounded electrical supply is required. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this appliance be provided.

Use a receptacle which cannot be turned off with a switch. Do not use an extension cord.

Choose freezer location:

1.Pick a safe place, indoors, away from flammables such as gasoline.

2.Check the strength of the floor. It should hold the weight of a fully loaded freezer.

3.Allow at least 3 inches (7.5cm) between top of freezer and the wall.

4.Allow at least 1 inch (2.5cm) between back of freezer and the wall.

5.Allow 3 inches (7.5cm) on each side of the freezer for ease of installation.

6.If the freezer is to be against a wall, you might want to leave extra space on the hinge side so the door can be opened wider.

Install freezer:

1.Locate the 2 front levelling legs among the packing materials.

2.Screw these legs into the front holes on the bottom of the freezer. The back of the freezer rests on 2 fixed supports.

3.Adust the 2 front legs so that the front of the freezer is slightly higher than the back. When adjusted properly, the door will swing shut from 10 inches open.

2.Bien rincer et sécher complètement.

Méthode de mise à la terre recommandée:

Il est essentiel de brancher l’appareil à un circuit unique, ne desservant que le congélateur. Le circuit électrique doit être de 115 volts, 60 cycles sur fusible de 15 ou 20 ampères avec mise à la terre appropriée.

Utiliser un branchement mural qui ne soit pas activé par un interrupteur. Ne jamais utiliser de rallonge électrique.

Choix de l’emplacement du congélateur :

3.Prévoir un espace d’au moins 7,5 cm (3 pouces) entre le haut du congélateur et le mur.

4.Prévoir un espace d’au moins 2,5 cm (1 pouce) entre l’arrière du congélateur et le mur.

5.Prévoir un espace d’au moins 7,5 cm (3 pouces) de part et d’autre du congélateur pour faciliter l’installation.

6.Si le congélateur est installé contre un mur, laisser davantage d’espace du côté des charnières, pour pouvoir ouvrir la porte en grand.

Installation du congélateur :

1.Prendre dans l’emballage les 2 pattes de nivellement.

2.Les visser dans les orifices qui se trouvent à l’avant et en dessous du congélateur. L’arrière du congélateur re- pose sur 2 supports fixes.

3.Ajustez les deux pattes avant de façon que l'avant du congélateur soit légèrement plus élevé que l'arrière. Une fois l'ajustement fait correctement, la porte devrait se refermer d'elle-même lorsqu'elle est ouverte de 10 pouces.

Antes De Dsar Du Congelador
