The Hearing Impaired output signal
is available on the screw terminal
connector on the rear of the DCM.
The output signal is similar to
levels that are output from a
standard CD player.
HEARING IMPAIRED CONNECTION
INSTALLATION- Connections: Hearing Impaired, Powered Subwoofer
Screw terminal connections make it
possible to send a balanced signal
to a powered subwoofer. This
signal is balanced and the circuitry
is designed for long cable runs from
the projection booth to the
theater screen. The high-pass
filtering and level adjustments are
done by the DCM unit.
NOTE: There will be no fault
analysis or output audio monitoring
available for the sub channel signal
if this connection
is used.
