To use the modem, connect the telephone cable to the internal modem connector on the back of the computer.
NOTICE: Do not connect a telephone cable to the network connector.
If you are connecting your computer to a network, connect the network cable to the network connector.
Connect the media bay cable to the external media bay and to the external media bay connector on the back of the computer.

Press the power button to turn on the computer. Follow the prompts on the screen to complete the operating system setup.
HINT: The touch pad does not work when you first start the computer. Press a key when prompted.
