power/battery charge status. The light indicates the following states while charging or using

Solid white • – The computer is on/off and the battery is charging.
Blinking white • – The computer is in standby mode.
Off • – The computer is off or in hibernate mode.

Solid amber • – The battery charge is low. Connect the AC adapter to charge the battery.
