Using the latest Thermal Dye Sublimation printing technology (a multi-pass process of laying colour on paper using heating elements to create accurate continuous colour tones), the 540’s photo output matches the quality of photo lab prints. A Clear Life Coating™ also seals each photo, protecting it against smudges and water.

Continuous-tone prints are sharper and crisper than standard inkjet photo prints, which are also prone to smudging and water damage.
