Dieser Abschnitt enthält die Regeln und Richtlinien zur Verbindung der PowerEdge Cluster-Knoten mit dem freigegebenen Speichersystem über eine Direktverbindung (ohne Fibre Channel-Schalter).

In einer direktverbundenen Konfiguration müssen beide Cluster-Knoten direkt an das Speichersystem angeschlossen werden. Das Speichersystem wird ausschließlich vom Cluster verwendet und kann nicht von anderen Hosts gemeinsam genutzt werden.
