C States Control

Allows you to enable or disable the additional processor sleep states. This option is

 

enabled by default.

Limit CPUID Value

This field limits the maximum value the processor Standard CPUID Function will

 

support

 

• Enable CPUID Limit (this option is disabled by default)

 

 

NOTE: Some Operating system will not complete installation when the maximum

 

 

CPUID Function is greater than 3

Intel TurboBoost

Allows you to enable or disable Intel TurboBoost mode of the processor.

 

Disabled - Does not allow the TurboBoost driver to increase the performance

 

 

state of the processor above the standard performance.

 

Enabled - Allows the Intel TurboBoost driver to increase the performance of

 

 

the CPU or graphics processor.

Hyper-Thread Control

Allows you to enable or disable the Hyper-Threading technology. This option is

 

enabled by default.

Rapid Start Technology

Allows you to improve batter life by automatically putting the system into a low power

 

status during after user specified amount of time.

 

• Intel Rapid Start feature (this option is disabled by default)

 

 

NOTE: Rapid Start Technology will automatically be disabled due to configuration

 

 

changes:

 

 

• Hard Disk Configuration or partition have been changed

 

 

• Memory capacity over 8GB installed.
