Fejlfinding på computeren

Du kan fejlsøge computeren vha. indikatorer som indikatorer til diagnosticering, bipkoder og fejlmeddelelser mens computeren er i brug.

Diagnosticeringsindikatorer

BEMÆRK: Diagnosticeringsindikatorer tjener kun som en indikator for status for selvtest, der blev udført ved start (Power on self test – POST). Disse indikatorer angiver ikke problemet, der fik POST-rutinen til at stoppe.

Diagnosticeringsindikatorerne findes foran på kabinettet ved siden af tænd/sluk-knappen. Disse diagnosticeringsindikatorer er kun aktive under POST-processen. De slukker så snart operativsystemet starter med at blive indlæst og er ikke længere synlig.

Hver indikator har to mulige tilstande Slukket eller Tændt. Den mest betydende bit er mærket med tallet 1 og de andre tre er mærket 2, 3 og 4, som du går ned eller på tværs af indikatorstakken. Den normale driftstilstand efter POST er for alle fire lysdioder til at være tændte og derefter at slukke når BIOS overdrager kontrollen til operativsystemet.

BEMÆRK: Diagnosticeringsindikatoren vil blinke når strømknappen lyser mørkegult eller er slukket, og ikke blinke når den er hvid.
