Setting the Manual EQ Setup
Adjust the tone of the various speakers except subwoofer speaker while listening to the sound (music).
1 Press the CURSOR D or H button to select “Auto Setup/Room EQ” at the “System Setup” menu, then press the ENTER button.
•The “Auto Setup/Room EQ” menu appears.
2 Press the CURSOR D or H button to select “Manual EQ Setup”, then press the ENTER button.
•The “Manual EQ Setup” screen appears.
3 Press the CURSOR F or G button to select the speaker to be set.
The display changes as follows.

When the surround back speaker setting is set to “1sp” at “Speaker Configuration”, this is set to “SB”.
4 Press the CURSOR D or H button to select the frequency.
5 Press the CURSOR F or G button to to adjust the gain level.

• The “Auto Setup/Room EQ” menu appears.
Setting the Room EQ Setup
Select the setting of an Equalizer that has been set with “Auto Setup” or “Manual EQ”.
1 Press the CURSOR D or H button to select “Room EQ Setup” at the “Auto Setup/Room EQ” menu, then press the ENTER button.
•The “Room EQ Setup” screen appears.

2 Press the CURSOR F or G button to select “All” or “Assign”.
All:
The Equalizer to all surround mode is set as once.
Assign:
The Equalizer to each surround mode is to set individually.
3 When “All” is selected: Press the ENTER button.

OFF:
The Equalizer is not used.
Normal:
Adjust the frequency response of all speaker suitable for general surround system.
Flat:
Adjust the frequency response of all speakers flat.
Front:
Adjusts the characteristics of each speaker to the characteristics of the front speakers.
Manual:
Selects the setting value that was set in the Manual EQ setup.
4 Press the ENTER button to enter the setting.
• The “Auto Setup/Room EQ” menu appears.
