Removing Burner

1.

Shut off gas supply to

 

heater.

2.

Remove lower front

 

access panel on heater.

3.

Disconnect burner tube

 

from orifice holder (see

 

Figure 19).

4.

Remove orifice holder

 

from burner (see Figure

 

19).

5.

Remove pilot burner

 

bracket nuts and remove

 

pilot assembly (see Figure

 

19).

6.

Move burner to the right

 

for clearance. Rotate

 

burner 90° and remove

 

burner through lower front

7. To reinstall, reverse above

steps. Turn on gas to

heater and check for gas

leaks. Apply a mixture of

liquid soap and water to

all joints. Bubbles form-

ing show a leak. Correct

all leaks at once.

8. Replace lower front

access panel.
