DESCRIPTION

WaveGATE, Wireless Networking with no barriers

Small size and multifunction, WaveGATE is the most suitable solution to carry out Wireless LAN for offices or at home.

WaveGATE is Access Point

WaveGATE is in the center of the Wireless communications, concentrating the communications of the Wireless Clients and as Gateway to the wired LAN.

All the PCs in the LAN, both wired and wireless, will be able to communicate among them, exchanging data and documents, to share resources, peripherals and Internet access.

Thanks to the Roaming function, WaveGATE allows the complete mobility of the Wireless stations inside a covered area with multiple Access Points, connected via Ethernet, without interruption of the connection.

WaveGATE is Bridge

No more problems in taking the wired LAN where it is not possible to arrive with the UTP cables. For example consider two buildings inside an industrial area or two points far from each other in the same building. Using the Wireless technology it is possible now to take the LAN where unreachable before. Both the Point-to-Point Bridge mode (two LANs) and Multipoint mode are supported (three or more LANS).

WaveGATE is Wireless Client Ethernet

When it is not possible to integrate embedded equipments, Linux box or other computers in a Wireless LAN, due to a particular operating system or for the missing PCMCIA or USB slots, WaveGATE transforms in WCE mode (Wireless Client Ethernet): it becomes a Wireless Ethernet card; it is sufficient that the host has an Ethernet port.

WaveGATE is easy to configure, via LAN or Wireless network or through a proper Windows® utility.
