RESETTING THE TEMPERATURE CUTOFF SWITCH

Should the heater overheat, an automatic cut out will turn the heater off and it will not come back on without being reset. It can be reset by switching the MAIN ON/OFF SWITCH to OFF and waiting 5 minutes before switching the unit back on.

CAUTION

If you need to continuously reset the heater, unplug the unit and call customer service at 1-800-668-6663.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Always disconnect from the power supply before attempting any maintenance. Bulb Replacement - see Fig.’s 3, 4 & 5 There are two bulbs located under the ember bed. To gain access to the bulbs, remove the coal/ pebbles and place in a container. Remove the front panel from the fireplace by lifting it up and out from the slots on the fireplace - see Fig.3.

Remove the rotisserie by carefully sliding the rubber connecter off the motor shaft - see Fig. 4.

Remove the defective bulb by unscrewing it as shown in Fig.5.

Replace with a 60W E12 clear chandelier or candelabra bulb. Take care not to over-tighten the bulb.Refit the front panel and replace the coal/ pebbles.
