TOP PANEL CONTROLS

1.Input Gain Adjustments - Control amplifier sensitivity and are used to match the input level of the ampli- fier to the output level of the signal source.

2.Crossover Selection Switch - Controls the type of filter for the on- board active crossovers. FLAT does not attenuate any frequencies and is for full-range speaker systems. HPF attenuates low frequencies and is used for mid-range speakers and tweeters. LPF attenuates high frequencies and is used for subwoofers.

3.Crossover Frequency Adjustment - Adjusts the crossover point for the on-board active crossovers.

4.Sub Phase Switch - Changes the phase of the subwoofer speaker output by 180 degrees

5.Variable Bass EQ - Controls up to 12 dB bass boost to the subwoofer output.

6.Sub Input Switch - Controls where the subwoofer section of the ampli- fier gets its signal. If the SUB INPUT switch is in the ON position the subwoofer section of the amplifier will get its signal internally summed from the channels one through four RCA jacks, and the SUB RCA jacks do not need input. If in the OFF position the SUB RCA jacks must have input.

7.Input Parallel Switch - Controls the input signal to the indicated chan- nels. If the 3+4 switch is ON, chan- nels three and four will derive their signal from channels one and two RCA jacks and no input is needed. If the 3+4 switch is OFF, channels three and four RCA jacks must have input.

As security threats continue to evolve, the need for advanced protection mechanisms is imperative, and the Directed Electronics 450.5 addresses this need through a series of innovative features and technologies.

One of the main characteristics of the Directed Electronics 450.5 is its two-way communication system, which allows the user to receive real-time alerts about the status of their vehicle. This two-way feature not only enhances security by informing owners of any unauthorized attempts to enter their vehicle but also provides peace of mind when parked in unfamiliar areas. The system includes a LCD remote that offers a visual representation of the vehicle's status, allowing users to quickly ascertain if their vehicle is secure.

Another key feature of the Directed Electronics 450.5 is its advanced sensor technology. The system is equipped with a shock sensor that detects any vibrations or impacts, prompting immediate alerts to the user. This feature is particularly valuable in preventing theft, as it can deter potential intruders by notifying the owner at the earliest sign of tampering. Additionally, the system includes a hood and trunk sensor, ensuring that all entry points are monitored for unauthorized access.

The Directed Electronics 450.5 also incorporates a starter interrupt functionality, which adds an extra layer of deterrent against vehicle theft.
