The Confidence range consists of classic bass reflex loudspeaker designs with no unusual or extraordinary positioning demands, neither in stereo nor in multi channel applications, due to the highly advanced driver and crossover technology engineered into these models.
The Confidence C2, C4 and Center models feature the new DDC (Dynaudio Directivity Control) technology, which reduces room reflections and thus the influence of room acoustics on the loudspeakers’ performance, and therefore enables a high sound quality to be reali- zed in any individual room. By implementing a vertical- ly symmetric driver arrangement with a highly advan- ced crossover network, DDC minimizes reflections from the critical floor and ceiling surfaces. The compact Confidence C1, due to its size and near field positioning associated with such, is much less affected by vertical reflections, but nonetheless deli- vers optimized dispersion through its inverted driver array, emmulating the effects of a DDC configuration to achieve a neutral response in any room.
Every room will still have its own particular sound cha- racteristics as shaped by its own acoustic properties. Any room is also shaped and decorated uniquely, and therefore remains quite independent regarding options for positioning loudspeakers.
