Using your iPod battery boost

Your iPod battery boost provides power for your iPod when the built-in battery’s charge is low or depleted.

To use your battery boost:

1Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the battery boost.

2Insert two AAA batteries. Make sure they are inserted properly.

3Replace the battery cover.

4Attach the battery boost to your iPod.

Choosing batteries for your iPod battery boost

Battery life will vary based on the model of iPod, usage mode (audio or video) and type of AAA battery used.

Note: Make sure that you attach the battery boost to your video model iPod as soon as you see the low battery reminder on the iPod. Video model iPods cannot be powered by the battery boost if the iPod has been completely depleted.
