EVEREST LITE POWER WHEELCHAIR
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
It is possible for one person to assemble the Everest Lite Power Wheelchair, but assembly is best performed by two people, since some parts are heavy and hard to maneuver alone.

Unpack the carton
sCaution: Never lift the Everest Lite by the front or rear cowl.
All components are in one carton. Remove the top packing material. Remove all components carefully and place them in the assembly area. Carefully position the base assembly on its wheels on the floor.
Assembly
1.Pick up the battery pack by the strap, as shown at right, and install it in the base, with the arrow on the top of the battery pack pointing toward the front of the wheelchair. Ensure that the battery pack is firmly seated in the base before proceed- ing.
sCaution: When installing the battery pack, press the strap all the way down.
2.Install the seat on the base as shown at right, while pulling the seat rotation lever to lock it in place. Ensure that the seat is locked into place and facing forward before continuing.
3.The hand control is usually installed on the right arm, as shown at right, but may be installed on either arm. If you would like to install the hand control on the left arm, please see that adjustment in the owner's manual.
Install the hand control: Slide the extension into the bracket, as shown at right; loosen the knob first, if necessary. When the hand control extension is in the desired position, tighten the knob.
