System frequency response shall vary no more than +3 dB from 29 Hz to 100 Hz. The subwoofer shall produce a sound pres- sure level (SPL) of 107 dB on axis at 1 meter with a power input of 1 watt, and shall be capable of producing a peak out- put of 145 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter. The subwoofer shall handle 1600 watts of amplifier power (continuous) when used with a 24dB/octave Butterworth high pass filter, and 1000 watts of amplifier power (continuous) without a high pass fil- ter. It shall have a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.
