SPECIFICATIONS DCT1

FEATURES

Dedicated supertweeter array

Four high frequency compression tweeters

360° (H) dispersion suspended directly overhead

DESCRIPTION

The DCT1 is engineered for use inpermanent installations. The system mounts four horn-loaded 1.33-in exit compression tweeters in an inverted pyramid enclosure. The driver/phase plug assemblies are engineered to minimize beaming of soundwaves with the smallest wavelengths, particularly in the horizontal plane.

APPLICATION

The DCT1's inverted pyramid configuration delivers optimized 360° horizontal dispersion of high frequencies when suspend- ed directly overhead. It provides very high levels of high fre- quency sound reinforcement for high energy dance clubs.

Like all EAW products, it can be special ordered in virtually any color to match a specific décor. Six year warranty.

DCT1 specifications

The EAW DCT1, or Eastern Acoustic Works DCT1, is an innovative and powerful loudspeaker system designed for professional audio applications. Known for its versatility and exceptional sound quality, the DCT1 is suited for a variety of settings, including live sound, installations, and events. It stands out not only for its performance but also for its advanced technological features that enhance user experience and audio output.

One of the main features of the EAW DCT1 is its unique coaxial driver design, which allows for improved phase coherence and a wider sound dispersion. This design minimizes the interference that can occur between different frequency drivers, resulting in a more cohesive and natural sound. The coaxial setup enables the DCT1 to deliver crystal-clear vocals and a balanced response across the entire frequency spectrum. This ensures that audio is heard as intended, without any coloration or distortion.

Additionally, the EAW DCT1 integrates advanced digital signal processing (DSP) technology to optimize audio performance in various environments. This DSP capability allows users to customize the sound to suit specific venue acoustics, enhancing the overall listening experience. The built-in processing includes equalization, time alignment, and limiters, which protect the system from overload while maintaining sound quality.

The DCT1 is also designed with durability and ease of use in mind. Its rugged construction is built to withstand the rigors of touring and live events, making it a reliable choice for sound engineers and event organizers. The speaker features multiple rigging points and options for mounting, facilitating flexible deployment in different settings.
