CONSERVATION

Environmental conservation is a cornerstone of ECHO’s corporate philosophy and we are proud to partner with like-minded organizations. ECHO is a corporate sponsor of Ducks Unlimited, and a sup- porter in the land management programs of Quail Unlimited and the National Wild Turkey Federa- tion. Through a multi-year agreement known as Partners for Home and Habitat, ECHO and Ducks Unlimited educate consumers about the importance of habitat conservation while delivering useful information about home landscaping. ECHO is committed to providing equipment to maintain your

home and support the preservation of others’ habitat.

CHAIN SAW CARVING

ECHO has long been a supporter in the art of chain saw

carving. The revolutionary ECHO Carving Team appears both collectively and individually at carving and special events across the US and the rest of the world. These four sculptors represent some of the best talent in the world. Visit

our web site to view biographies, ap- pearance schedules, carving samples,

and news about each carver on the ECHO Carving Team.

The ECHO Carving Team (from left to right) consists of: Mark Colp (Lakeport, CA), Mike Bihlmaier (Marengo, IL), Bob King (Edgewood, WA), and Jason Emmons (St. Croix, IN).)

FULL THROTTLE ART – THE ECHO CHAIN SAW CARVING SERIES

The roar of chain saws and the pressure of competition are showcased as art, talent, endurance and champion carvers come together in this annual series of visually-exciting events. Award-winning sculptors compete against each other, and the clock, to carve objects out of wood – and reveal “what’s in the trunk” – using only a chain saw. The ECHO Carving Series pits “pro-division” winners from different qualifying events against each other in a face-off at the ECHO Carving Series Championship. Viewers are constantly amazed at the skill and creativity these carvers wield at the tip of their chain saw. The 2008 Championship will take place at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, October 4 - 5, 2008. Check out ECHO’s web site for more information on the Championship and view photos and videos from past Series.
