This freezer ships with a lock and two keys. To lock the door, close the door, insert the key into the lock, and turn. To unlock the door, insert the key into the lock and turn, then open the door
Defrosting
NEVER DEFROST THE UNIT BY USING A METAL TOOL (E.G., ICE PICK,
SCREWDRIVER) TO SCRAPE OR CHIP OFF THE ICE.
You may defrost this freezer once every few months or whenever ¼” of frost develops in on the walls.
Remove the electrical plug from the wall socket, open the door and remove all contents. Defrost using a plastic scraper, or let the temperature rise naturally until the frost melts, then wipe away the remaining ice and water. You may also want to clean the unit at this time. Once you have finished, plug the freezer back in and make sure the temperature knob is still set where you would like it to be set.
The colder the settings, the more frost will build up. Additionally, the more humid the ambient conditions, the more frost will build up. Keep the
