IV-9-9. Firewall
The router supports firewall functions which can protect your network and
computer from malicious intruders.
Denial-of-Service (DoS) is a common form of malicious attack against a
network. The router’s firewall can protect against such attacks.
If you are not familiar with these functions, it is recommended you keep the
default settings.
Public IP Address
You can select ‘Dynamic IP’ or ‘Static IP’ here.
If you select ‘Dynamic IP’, you have to select
an Internet connection session from
dropdown menu; if you select ‘Static IP’,
please input the IP address that you want to
map to a specific private IP address.
