High Resolution Color Video Graphics Adapters Backward Compatibility
The boards are backw ard compatible with t heir
predecessors such as the Raptor DL-L ite, so custom-
ers can maintain t he same functi onality they ar e
accustomed to while enjoy ing the new features of
these boards.
Innovative Cooling System
Graphics board GPUs must be suffic iently cooled at
all times not only to ensure optimum p erformance,
but more importantly, to protect them from failure.
While most cards rely on cooling fan s that may wear
out over time, the Raptor 4000-R a nd 4000e-R
employ an innovative passive heatsink. This inc reases
reliability while eliminat ing downtime and expense
required for fan inspec tions and maintenance.
Wide-Ranging Support
The Raptor 4000-R and Raptor 4 000e-R support
drivers for Solaris, Linux and Tru6 4 UNIX. These
drivers are easy to install and a re backed by our
renowned technical support. Be cause our drivers are
developed in-house, Tech Source is responsive to cus-
tomer needs, and in the unlikely event of a problem ,
customers can contact an enginee r directly.
Longest Product Life in its Class
While most vendors’ products are only available for
one or two years, Tech Source guarantees Raptor
4000-R and 4000e-R avai lability for at least five
years and support for at least ten years. For system
integrators, OEMs, and ATC centers, this me ans sig-
nificant savings on development costs by reduc ing the
frequency of configuration re-tes ting that is necessary
when replacing old cards with new ones.
