The T550 signifies a new direction in display technology by utilizing an innovative fully flat Tension Mask CRT. The Geometric and anti-reflective features of the T550 provide users with exceptionally bright color and crisp text reproduction for CAD/CAM, graphics, and business applications.

Fully Flat Screen and Bezel Design

The T550 is the first EIZO display to utilize a new Tension Mask CRT with no curvature for a completely flat screen. The shape of the screen assures superb picture quality and along with EIZO’s SuperErgoCoatsignificantly decreases external glare and reflection for a reduction of eye- fatigue. The front bezel design which matches the flat look of the screen further enhances the ergonomic design of the T550.

Digital Signal Processor (DSP)

DSP is EIZO’s high speed, customized, integrated circuit which corrects screen distortion and reduces moirÈ (an interference pattern of dark, wavy lines) regardless of the input signal to produce ideal picture quality.

One Touch Auto Adjustment

With this unique usability feature, screen size and position of the T550 can instantaneously be adjusted to the ideal level for the video signal received simply by pressing the Auto- Sizing button located on the front panel.

Energy Saving

For maximum energy efficiency, the T550 comes with two original EIZO features, PowerManagerand an Off Timer. PowerManager lowers power consumption to less than 3 W when the T550 is on but not in use. The Off Timer allows the user to set the T550 to automatically enter a power- off state after a predetermined amount of time.

Compliance with International Standards

As with all EIZO monitors, the packaging and cabinet of the T550 is fully recyclable. The T550 also meets the most stringent ergonomic, environmental, and safety standards including the CE Mark, ISO 9241-3, -7, -8, TÜV Rheinland/Ergonomie, and the new TCO’99.

i•SoundSound Unit

For the enhancement of multimedia applications, EIZO offers the i•Sound, a separately sold speaker unit which comfortably attaches around the control panel console of the T550. The i•Sound is equipped with two speakers, two stereo mini-jack cables, and a microphone and is powered directly from the monitor.

i•StationUSB Hub

To simplify the installation of desktop peripherals, EIZO manufactures the i•Station, an attachable USB hub unit. The i•Station fits around the front cabinet to seamlessly blend with the design of the monitor and occupy no additional desk space. The unit is also sold separately.
