EVID 12.1 specifications

The Electro-Voice EVID 12.1 is an innovative and high-performance loudspeaker designed for a wide range of applications, from commercial installations to live sound scenarios. Its 12-inch, two-way design is engineered to deliver robust audio performance, ensuring that music and speech are reproduced with clarity and precision. One of its standout features is the exceptional sound quality, which is achieved through advanced audio technologies and a carefully designed acoustic architecture.

At the heart of the EVID 12.1 is its powerful 12-inch woofer, which is complemented by a 1-inch compression driver. This combination allows the speaker to produce a wide frequency response, making it suitable for both low-end reinforcement and crisp high-frequency output. The built-in crossover network ensures seamless integration between the woofer and the tweeter, delivering a smooth and coherent sound profile across the audio spectrum.

The speaker's robust construction features a high-impact, UV-resistant enclosure designed for durability in a variety of environments. This design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also provides protection against harsh weather conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. The EVID 12.1 is equipped with multiple mounting options, including a built-in yoke for horizontal or vertical installation, allowing for versatile placement in various settings.

Electro-Voice has also incorporated a range of modern technologies in the EVID 12.1. For instance, the speaker boasts a unique high-frequency waveguide that ensures even sound distribution across large areas, reducing dead spots and allowing for a more immersive listening experience. This is particularly beneficial in spaces such as retail environments, cafes, and corporate venues, where background music and announcements are essential.

Another feature of the EVID 12.1 is its expandable design. Multiple speakers can be linked together to create larger systems, providing flexibility for sound reinforcement in various applications. The speaker’s sensitivity and power handling capabilities further contribute to its effectiveness, allowing it to perform admirably in a range of configurations.

In summary, the Electro-Voice EVID 12.1 is a versatile loudspeaker that excels in sound quality, durability, and design flexibility. Its combination of advanced technologies and thoughtful engineering make it an ideal choice for both commercial and professional audio needs, ensuring that it meets the demands of today’s diverse audio environments.
