MB100 specifications

The Electro-Voice MB100 is a staple in the world of portable sound reinforcement, designed to meet the demands of musicians, public speakers, and event organizers alike. This compact microphone delivers professional-grade audio quality while maintaining user-friendly features that enhance its versatility and performance.

At the heart of the MB100 is its robust build quality. Engineered to withstand the rigors of frequent use, the microphone features a durable casing that provides reliability even in demanding environments. Its lightweight design makes it easy to handle and transport, making it an ideal choice for on-the-go professionals.

One of the standout features of the MB100 is its cardioid polar pattern. This directional microphone effectively captures sound from the front while minimizing background noise and feedback from the sides and rear. This characteristic is crucial for live performances and recordings, where clarity and focus on the primary sound source are essential.

The MB100 is equipped with a high-performance dynamic capsule that provides a wide frequency response. This allows for rich and detailed sound reproduction, catering to a range of vocal styles and instruments. Whether used for singing, public speaking, or instruments, the microphone delivers a transparent and natural audio quality, ensuring that every nuance is captured accurately.

Another significant aspect of the MB100 is its built-in shock mount system. This feature minimizes handling noise and vibrations, which can interfere with audio clarity. Musicians can move freely during performances without worrying about unwanted sounds being picked up by the microphone.

The MB100 also comes with a built-in pop filter, which helps to reduce plosive sounds caused by sharp consonants. This ensures a cleaner vocal performance, making it suitable for studio recording and live situations alike.

In terms of connectivity, the microphone is compatible with various audio interfaces and mixers, featuring a standard XLR output. This makes it easy to integrate into existing setups without any additional equipment.

In summary, the Electro-Voice MB100 combines durable construction, professional audio quality, and user-friendly features, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to elevate their sound. Its directional design, dynamic capsule, shock mount, and pop filter make it versatile for various applications, ensuring that it meets the needs of both live performers and studio artists. Whether you are a seasoned professional or an aspiring musician, the MB100 is sure to deliver an exceptional auditory experience.
