The washing machine
vibrates during opera-
tion or is unstable.
The transport packaging has
not been removed.
Remove transport packaging
according to the installation
and connection instructions.
The machine is not level.
Adjust the feet according to
the installation and connec-
tion instructions.
There is very little washing in
the drum (e.g. only one
dressing gown).
This does not impair the
function.
The water could not be com-
pletely pumped out before
spinning because
the drain hose is kinked or
the drain pump is blocked.
Check the drain hose and
remove any kink if necessary,
or clean the drain pump and,
if required, remov e foreign
bodies from the pump hous-
ing.
Water runs out from
under the washing
machine.
The screw connection on the
inlet hose is leaking.
Tighten the inlet hose screw
connection
The drainage hose is leaking. Check the drainage hose and
replace it if necessary.
The drain pump cover is not
correctly closed. Close cover correctly.
Washing is caught in the
door.
Stop the program and
remove the washing caught
in the door. Restart the pro-
gram.
The emergency emptying
hose is not correctly sealed
or is leaking.
Seal the emergency empty-
ing hose correctly (see sec-
tion “Carrying Out an
Emergency Emptying“). Call
your local AEG Service Force
Centre if the emergency
emptying hose leaks.
The washing machine
does not spin; there is
water in the drum.
RINSE HOLD has been
selected. Cancel RINSE HOLD.
Soaking program has fin-
ished.
Release SOAKING button
(main wash program will fol-
low).
